Why hello fellow music lovers. Sadly, Abigaile will not be writing today's post. This is Abby (everyone calls me Abs though), Abigaile is my best friend and music buddy. I know, our names are kinda confusing. We get that a lot, but it makes it easier to remember us. Anyways, Abigaile asked me if I wanted to do a post today, so of course I'm like "Heck yesss"! I'm pretty excited about helping her with the blog, and spreading the word about the beauty of metal. Very deep, I know. Alright, let's get to the tunage, here are a few songs/bands that I've been into lately and I hope you'll enjoy as well. =]
Legends Never Die, by As Blood Runs Black. They're an American Death Metal/Metalcore band. They kinda remind me of The Crimson Armada. I really loveee the double-bass starting at 1:48 in this song =D
Next up is The Sacrilegious Scorn, by Dimmu Borgir. They are a Norwegian Black Metal band (Norwegian metal bands are mostly my favorites), they're the type of band that dresses up as satanic gods. Buttt I still love their music, so I don't mind. This song is pretty uplifting.
Entombment of a Machine. Enough said. By the band, Job For a Cowboy. I know they're pretty popular, but they're still a great band in my opinion and will always have a special place in my heart. In the beginning of the song, when that high-pitch girl screams, it's actually the guy screaming, which I've heard is hilarious when it's live.
The Darkest Day of Man, by Whitechapel. Another popular band that I so dearly love. They released their 3rd album in June of 2010, and I think it is pretty frikin' awesome. I definitely recommend you check out their other stuff if you haven't already.
So I hope you liked the music (I know Abigaile is a wayyy better writer than I am). I enjoyed makin' a post and will most likely be on here again in the near future to help out some. Peace outt ya'll.
