What is this? An interview on a Friday?
Yeah, since I got grounded the whole schedule I had got messed up.
Oh well, I have never been good with schedules anyway.
I absolutely love talking to The Fall Of Faith.
They are awesome guys, that play some great music.
How did you get started?
Our guitar player Justin and Jonathan our drummer have been playing together for a few years, and before this summer started while I was still away at school, our drummer messaged me asking him play bass with them. We practiced for a few weeks before picking our good friend Josh up as our vocalist.
Where do you get your inspiration from?
Friends, family, and the drive to make music our career

What has been your favorite venue so far? And what's your dream venue?
Our favorite venue so far has been at a local music festival called Fest of the Dead, where the stage was set up in a horse stable. Aside from good acoustics and an amazing stage setup, the best part of this venue was the 13 foot tall Paul Bunyon Statue out behind the stable. Our dream venue would be anywhere that kids actually want to see us play!

If you had a chance to interview a musician who would it be, and why?
Adam D. from Killswitch Engage, we all love that band and it'd be absolutely hilarious to get to interview him.

If you could thank somebody for helping you fulfill your dreams as a musician, who would it be? And why?
Our parents definitely. They all provided us with the opportunity to play music, whether it be providing instruments, giving us a place to practice, or telling us never to give up on our dreams.

If you weren't involved in music, what would you be doing in life right now?
We'd all either be in school, or working a regular 9 to 5 job.

If mom was going to make your favorite home-cooked meal, what would it be?
We had to answer this individually because none of us are the same haha! For Justin, it would be steak and sweet potatoes. For Jonathan it would be biscuits and gravy. For Josh, chicken pot pie, and for me, Tyler, anything pasta based is the way to go!

What do you do in your down time?
We enjoy working out, playing Mortal Kombat, going to shows, and just hanging out with our friends.

Have you had any really embarrassing mishaps on stage?
Right now, the most embarrassing thing that has happened to us is our china cymbal kept falling over at a house show and our friend Bucket had to hold it up for us, and at every show we've played so far, I have ripped my boxers in half at some point in the set!

What positive message do you want to send through your music to your fans?
We just want to send the message that it doesn't matter where you're from, you can do anything you put your mind to whether it be playing in a band, or anything else. We also want to give kids the strength to achieve goals with friends, or all on their own.

And lastly, what does your band name mean to you? And, whats its origin?
To me, and to all of us actually, our name The Fall of Faith has a very broad meaning. It's about how we, as well as I'm sure everyone else in the world, has lost faith in something, whether it be humanity, the morals of people, faith in friendship, love, or family. Our name originated from a time that we were at a local diner late at night, thinking of band names. When we thought of it, it was originally for the sole fact that it was a very "metal" name, but over time it the meaning above has really come to stick to it.
