How did you get started?
We started out as a pop-punk influenced band last year at around this time. We all knew of each other from past bands and through rough demos shared by Internet, we became interested in playing together.
Where do you get your inspiration from?
We get inspired by everything. Our lyrics are inspired on the times we’ve all had to struggle Through hope and positivity, we’ve gotten through. We get inspired by events that challenge us, people who go out of their way to make anything harder for us (otherwise known as the haters), but most importantly, the people who have supported us from day one are our biggest inspiration.
What has been your favorite venue so far? And what's your dream venue?
Our favorite local venue is Eleanor Rigby’s located right outside of the city we are from, Scranton PA. The venue is our second home. We are good friends with the owner (Joe Caviston) and he has done nothing but try and help us out since the day
we first played for Rigby’s
Our dream venue would be anywhere just as intimate as our own venues here in PA. We don’t necessarily have a dream venue, we just dream to play a lot of them.
If you had a chance to interview a musician who would it be, and why?
We have so many we would love to interview, too many to name.
If you could thank somebody for helping you fulfill your dreams as a musician,
who would it be? And why?
We are all thankful for our parents who believed in us when we made noise in our rooms at young ages, supported us through coming to our shows, and helping us when we needed it. So individually, we would all thank separate people.
If you weren't involved in music, what would you be doing in life right now?
We would all be doing something different. Kenny will always be focused on music. That’s his ultimate passion in life. Jerry is an artist on the side, so he would mainly be painting. Mark and Justin would also be involved with music somehow, and fulfilling their careers in college. Jamie is into film and will always be a drummer; he has been getting into drum lessons recently.
If mom was going to make your favorite home-cooked meal, what would it be?
Kenny’s mom always makes the best food.
We like any meal consisting of fried food, it’s good for you.
What do you do in your down time?
We hang out with friends, mark plays in a cover band as well, and watch sports until we get mad.
Have you had any really embarrassing mishaps on stage?
We have all tripped ourselves or one another a few times. Kenny has gotten hit in the head by a bass, tripped, and other interesting embarrassing moments. the list can go on for hours!
What positive message do you want to send through your music to your fans?
If you believe in something and want to do it enough, you will conquer your doubt and realize that you have succeeded.
And lastly, what does your band name mean to you? And, whats its origin?
One Last Time was a name given to us by a friend, and we took it because we all thought it sounded cool. We also eventually fell in love with what we had it stand for. We all play like it’s our last night to play, having an attitude like that makes playing that much more worth our time.
