 How did you get started?

It all got started when Marcus, Markus and Ingo had this ridiculously shitty band namend “Sidious” (I know right…?!). They were desperately looking for a new guitar player and so Chris joined. Sadly at that point their former singer started bitching and left the band without a vocalist. Luckily Chris knew some chick called Rage. Long story short, we invited her over for tryouts, she blew our minds and we're a happy family now. Sadly Ingo had to leave us. He’s a really busy man and so we had to find a new drummer. Luckily Flo ran right into our arms. When we first invited him over for tryouts I was a little late and so everyone was waiting outside our rehearsal room. You must know that we all are huuuuge UFC and Ultimate Fighting Fans. And when I got out of my car I heard Flo talking about how awesome Chuck Liddell is(he totally is right?!). From that moment on I knew that this dude would perfectly fit into our band. When he started playing we all looked at each other and knew that this dude has to stay. Since that day he lives in my basement.
Where do you get your inspiration from?
I could start telling stories about how inspirational life is and stuff but basically it’s video games that inspire us. No seriously, we’re all nerds but basically it really is life itself that inspires us. We all have great families but have also seen darker parts in life. Those are the most inspirational things. Like a problem you’ve carried around for a while and write lyrics to get it off your chest.

What has been your favorite venue so far? And what's your dream venue?
We’ve been to a lot of great places and we’ve met tons of interesting and fun people. The greatest part of playing in a band is getting to know people on the road. There are so many nice people out there, that provided shelter for us, gave us food and stuff. That’s a great feeling and I’m very thankful for the opportunity to meet these people.
The most fun shows are the shows in small venues. It’s a different kind of energy.
Still we'd love to play at Ozzfest or Warped Tour.

If you had a chance to interview a musician who would it be, and why?

Chris used to interview people for a website and met the biggest bands like As I Lay Dying and stuff… I couldn't really tell who I’d like to interview… BB King maybe since I’m a big blues fan  If you could thank somebody for helping you fulfill your dreams as a musician, who would it be? And why?
You have to thank the fans.. where would you be if nobody cared about your crappy ass music? Without people coming to our shows and without their support we’d be nothing.

If you weren't involved in music, what would you be doing in life right now?
I’d probably sit on my sofa playing Playstation although I had to learn for my law class.

What do you do in your down time?
Like you might already have figured out… we are nerds… we all have a playstation, xbox360, Nintendo ds and sony psp… so when we’re not spending time with our families, partners or friends we play video games. Only our drummer flo is kind of oldschool and plays on his computer… who does that?!
Have you had any really embarrassing mishaps on stage?
Sadly… no. But Chris tore a muscle in his knee once, while jumping off stage. That was kind of funny.

What positive message do you want to send through your music to your fans?
If people who visited our show walk home, sweaty and exhausted it gives me the greatest feeling. When they smile it makes me smily. I know it sounds kind of lame but that’s what it is. We hope we can give people the same feeling that our favorite bands gave us and if those kids in the front row start their own band and get the chance to experience what I’ve experienced in a band that’s all I could ever ask for.

What bands are your musical inspiration, what bands are your all time favorite bands and which bands did your band the most influence?
We all enjoy very different kinds of music. Rage totally is a hardcore kid, whilst Chris is more like melodic death metal and old school stuff. Flo and Marcus are more into Metalcore. I think we all influence our music in our different kind of ways. I couldn't name a band that’s got the most influence on us… Most bands say “The Beatles”…yeah “The Beatles” have the most influence in us ;) All time favourite band: awesome story. When we started we were all like “Dude! How awesome would it be if we could play with All Shall Perish?!” And when we were on our way to our third show or something some dude called us and asked if we’d like to play with All Shall Perish. We were totally psyched and screamed and yelled just because we were so happy. The evening of the show you couldn’t wipe the smiles off our faces and we went backstage to meet the guys and seriously those dudes are the coolest EVER! On our first CD we used a sample of Mike saying “The sickest breakdown ever” and when we showed him he offered us to do it on stage. So he did and the people went nuts! Awesome night! Makes me smile just when thinking about it.
