12:45-1:15 Networking Pizza Lunch

Meet other teen musicians in Loudoun County. Your next band could start right here.

1:30-4:30 Garage Band Studio with educators Hunter Pendleton and Joy Harrell

Learn to manipulate loops and record and edit your own sounds with the teen center’s Macs.

Bring your own (small) instrument if you like.

1:00-2:00 Slide Guitar Workshop with Educator Christopher Hamner

An introduction to the basic techniques of slide guitar, including wearing the slide, intonation,

vibrato, and some basic licks in open G tuning. For intermediate guitar players---those who

have been playing for 1-2 years and know basic chords but haven't tried slide.

1:00-2:30 The Honest Voice: Singing with Musician and Educator Joy Harrell

A crash course in effective vocal performance. All levels welcome.

3:00-5:00 Open Mic Coffee House
