How did you guys get started?
Cory, Nick, and Stephen were in a band together and Zack and Taylor were in another band. During our schools variety show, both of our bands played and the 5 of us started talking and decided to form this band.
Can you describe Kill The Coward's sound?
We are a hardcore/metalcore band. We sound like a mix of Asking Alexandria, Motionless In White, A Day To Remember, and Miss May I.Are there any bands/musicians that have inspired your music?
A band that really inspires us is Motionless In White. They are from the same area as us (Scranton PA) and they've made it big, so they give bands in this area hope that it's possible to make it. And Mumford and Sons, st because they're awesome.
Do you have a favorite song to play at shows?
Our favorite song to play is one of our new ones, it's called "Can't Understand Normal Thinking". It's a really heavy song, and we have a lot of movement. Also, the moshers usually go crazy.
What has been your favorite band to share the stage with so far?
We have a few actually. We just opened up for the Smartpunk Tour with The Word Alive and Upon A Burning Body and that was incredible. There were about 400 people there and everybody loved it. Another band would be The Last 10 Seconds Of Life. They are a death metal band from our area that's getting a lot of fans and they are just really awesome dudes. We even went to Burger King with them afterwards unintentionally. If you could go on tour with any band, who would it be, and why?
We would love to go on tour with Enter Shikari. We all love their music and they have amazing stage presence, and they also seem like really fun guys to be with. We would also love to go on tour with Alesana, just because they are amazing and Dennis (their screamer) used to play WoW.Do any band members have random pet-peeves?
Our biggest pet peeve is getting distracted waaayyyy to easily. We would be practicing, then Taylor and Stephen will start doing improv of a rap song and Zack will just start raping. What is the craziest thing that has happened at one of your shows?
Well a few mosh pits ended up turning into some fights, but Cory also ripped his pants while head banging before in the middle of a song. What has been your favorite venue so far? And what is your dream venue?
Our favorite venue so far is Eleanor Rigby's. It's a local bar/venue and the people who work there are all really cool so its always fun. And our dream venue would have to be anywhere outside of Pennsylvania. If you could give a message to all your fans, what would it be?
We would tell all our fans that they are really the best fans ever. They've always been extremely supportive with everything and we thank them all for that <3And lastly, if you guys could thank anybody for your success who would it be,
and why?
Dave Cutrone and the rest of the crew at Eleanor Rigby's. Dave is the person who recorded us and does sound for Eleanor Rigby's, and they've been giving us so many opportunities that we are extremely grateful for.
